Food Trucks AT the festival

The Utah Blues Festival is excited to offer a variety of delicious food trucks this year. They will be serving everything from veggies to savory BBQ and sweet things to satisfy your summer cravings. Information for each food truck is in the links below.
It all started in competition BBQ. We started small in backyard competitions but after some success, we moved into the professional division. There we racked up 2 Grand Champions, 4 Reserve Grand Champions, and multiple top 10 calls in less than 2 seasons. As a lifelong restaurant worker, it has always been my dream of opening my own place. BBQ is a passion of mine and I am excited to use what I learned winning on the competition circuit and bringing it to Utah.

Falafel Tree is a Salt Lake City-based food truck specializing in fresh, authentic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, with a particular focus on Egyptian flavors. The menu features signature falafel wraps and platters made from scratch, juicy chicken kebab wraps, beef and lamb gyros, and Egyptian moussaka, all served with homemade sauces and fresh pita bread. Popular sides and small plates include award-winning garlic fries, dolmas (stuffed grape leaves), and creamy hummus. The truck is run by Chef Abby, a native Egyptian with international culinary experience, who brings traditional recipes and vibrant spices to every dish, offering both vegetarian and meat options that appeal to a wide range of tastes.

Taqueria La Catrina

Taqueria La Catrina Mexican Food offers a menu of classic Mexican street food favorites, including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and burrito bowls, all customizable with a choice of proteins such as asada, shrimp, and more. Their tacos are served on traditional corn tortillas with onions, cilantro, and lime, and come with sides like Mexican rice, black beans, or chips. Specialty items include shrimp quesadillas with creamy chipotle sauce and generously filled tortas. Reviewers consistently praise the authenticity and freshness of the food, highlighting the homemade tortillas, flavorful salsas, and hearty portions. The food truck is known for its friendly service and for bringing both traditional recipes and modern specialties to the residents of Utah.

Kona Ice mobile food truck specializes in customizable, tropical-inspired shaved ice treats. Guests can create their own shaved ice masterpieces using a unique system, which offers a wide variety of syrup flavors such as Blue Raspberry, Tiger’s Blood, Monster Mango, and Pina Colada, with options to mix and match as many flavors as desired. The menu also includes seasonal and specialty flavors, dye-free choices, and several nutritional options like Vita-Blend (with added vitamins), Fruit First (fruit-based), and sugar-free varieties, all of which are gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free, and vegan-friendly. Kona Ice’s vibrant trucks, lively atmosphere, and commitment to community giveback make it a popular choice for events, fundraisers, and parties, delivering a fun and refreshing dessert experience on wheels.

Fry Me to The Moon is a gourmet food truck offering elevated comfort food with a creative twist. Their menu highlights include loaded Navajo tacos, indulgent cheese fries, chicken strips, beer battered fish, corn dogs, fresh salads and their “world famous” donuts, which are frequently praised for their exceptional taste. The truck is known for its generous portions and playful approach to classic favorites, delivering “food from out of this world” that appeals to those seeking hearty, satisfying meals. Each visit is sweetened by their signature offer of a free donut.

Some people claim that our pizza is “the best”. Realistically, our pizza is just a reflection of our processes. We choose to make all of our dough & sauces, shred our own cheese, and prepare the majority of our ingredients fresh – right here in Ogden, Utah. Those ingredients plus the fact that we craft each pie by hand using age-old techniques equals a better pizza than those made from processed ingredients and machines.

Taquiza Santana Mexican

Looking for south-of-the-border flavors hot off the grill? Taste the homemade goodness from the Taquiza Santana food truck. We prepare all our dishes from scratch and offer a wide variety of Mexican dishes, including tacos, tortas, burritos, quesadillas, mulitas, nachos, sopes and carne asada fries. Whether you like your food savory, sweet or a little spicy, Chef Heriberto Lopez has something to make your tastebuds sing.

Oak Street Café

Oak Street Café specializes in freshly made Salads and Juices.  Our produce is prepared daily, and each of our dresses is made from scratch. We Juice fresh fruits and vegetables each morning to create energizing Juice Blends.  Generally, our menu consists of three daily Salads and Juices.  While these change throughout the season, examples include Greek Tabbouleh, Kale and Quinoa, or Thai Noodle.  For a protein add-on, we currently offer Organic Chicken.  Our Juice Blends come in a variety of colors: Green, Red  or Orange.  These also change as our seasons progress.  Oak Street Cafe’s menu is inspired by the families we feed.  We hope you get a chance to enjoy some of our fresh food.
